Mohit Shelare (b. 1992) is an artist based in India. His actions deal with the limits of the body, investigating the power dynamics and mechanisms of exclusion inherent in local sites. Shelare trained as a painter (BFA, 2014) at Sir J. J. School of Art, Mumbai,and studied performance (MFA,2017) at Shiv Nadar University, Uttar Pradesh. He was a fellow at Ashkal Alwan's 2018-19 Home Workspace Program.
